The steps below describe how to create a marketing or a closing service report that can later be printed or published for viewing on the Internet.
To create a service report
On the [Listings/Closings] menu, click Current [listings/closings].
To customize how your listings or closings are displayed:
To display listings/closings with a certain status, specify the status from the View by status drop-down list box, and then click Start search.
To display listings/closings created within a specific date range, click the Date range link. Specify the date range, then click OK.
Select the listing/closing you want to create a service report for, and then click the View or edit listing/closing action menu item.
Click the Service report tab.
Click the Report action menu item.
Select the seller you want to create the report for by selecting a name from the Create for drop-down list.
In the Introductory comments and Summary remarks sections, do one of the following:
Type your comments in the appropriate text box.
Click the Introductory comments or Summary remarks links to add pre-set comments. Use the Insert comments/remarks page to add, spell check, delete and set a default comment. For more information, see "Using the Insert Comments/Remarks Page".
In the Report options section, do the following:
Select the Include property picture check box to include the property picture in the report.
Select the Include market data check box to include statistics for the market in your area.
Select the Include cash expenses check box to include expenses in the report.
Click the Set up market data link to specify the market data you want to include. For more information, see "Entering market data for a service report". (This option is only available to the marketing service report.)
Click the Advanced report options link to specify advanced report options. For more information, see "Using Advanced Report Options".
In the Service activities section, you can do the following:
Specify the date range of the activities you want to include on the report by entering a date in the from and to text boxes, or by clicking the calendar icons.
Add a showing to the report by clicking Add showing from the bottom right corner of the page. Enter the showing's details, then click OK. For more information, see "Adding a Showing to a Marketing Service Report". (This option is only available to the marketing service report.)
Click the Add activity link to add an activity to the report. For more information, see "Adding Activities to a Service Report".
Click the Change activity link to modify an activity. For more information, see "Changing a Service Report Activity".
Remove an activity from the report by selecting the activity and then clicking the Delete link. When prompted to confirm, click Yes.
Once you have finished specifying the report information, click Save and print later from the control menu.
From the Print later pop-up window, specify:
The report’s name in the Report name field.
The date you want to send the report by typing in the Date field, or by clicking the calendar icon.
Who to assign the report to by selecting an option from the Assigned to drop-down list.
Click OK.
The report will be displayed in Today’s business on the date you specified.
