To open the Lead manager: From the Contacts menu, click Leads.
You can follow up on a lead by scheduling a single activity, applying a plan, or sending a mailout, email or flyer. Once you've performed any of these activities, the lead's status changes from "New" to "Followed up".
To follow up on a lead
From the Lead manager, do any of the following to follow up on a lead:
Click the Schedule follow-up action menu item to schedule a single activity. For more information, see "Scheduling activities".
Click the Apply action plan action menu item to apply a plan to the selected lead(s). For more information, see "Applying plans".
Click the Perform mailout action menu item to send a letter, envelope, label or postcard. For more information, see "Performing a mailout".
Click the Mass email action menu item to send email to the selected lead(s). For more information, see "Mass email".
Click the Send flyer action menu item to send a flyer to the selected lead(s). For more information, see "Sending a flyer".
