Close all open programs to return to the Windows desktop.
Click Start,
Settings, Control
Panel to display the Control
Panel window.
Double-click Display
to display the Display
Properties window.
Click the Settings
tab.
Under the Colors section,
use the drop-down
list box to select High Color (16
bit).
Under the Screen area
section, drag the arrow left or right until the reading below the
pointer reads 1024 by 768 pixels.
Click OK to
close the Display Properties window.
If the Display Properties dialog
box is displayed, click OK to
resize your desktop.
After your desktop has been resized, the Monitor
settings dialog box will be displayed. If you want to keep
these settings, click Yes.
If you do not want to keep the settings, click No
and your original display properties will be restored.
Click File, then click Close to exit the Control Panel window.
